Am I delusional?

As most of you know, Phil has wanted a dog for a long time. I haven't been as keen on the idea. Well, he somehow convinced me to go look at some golden doodle puppies on Sunday, and now he and Abram and Alex are begging me to say yes so we can bring a puppy home. I have to admit, they are adorable. And this kind of dog won't shed and is hypo-allergenic. So those are major plusses. So I am putting it to a vote. Should the Berry tribe add another member to the family? (Veronica, I already know your vote. :) Phil isn't going to let this rest, he is so darn persistant!

Yes...you should definitely get a dog...that way we WON'T have to get one. We'll just come visit yours. And if you're ever out of town, we'll be happy to look after him/her for you!

This is the exact dilemma we have at our house. Tucker wants one so bad, as do the kids. I'm way allergic so I feel like its a pretty good excuse not to have one. I voted no! Good luck with that decision. I'm secretly hoping that one of my kids is allergic just so I have a stronger defense. That IS a really cute dog, though!

Yes you ARE delusional. Hold strong Heidi!! Just think of all the doggy do-do you'll be picking up in the yard (if your feet don't pick it up first). Dogs are quite smelly too. They might look cute now, but when you are hauling him to the vet, having to find dog sitters, chasing him around the neighborhood, you'll wish he was gone! Then think about how much the kids will cry if you try to get rid of him. And if, heaven forbid, something happened to the dog, your poor children will be in mourning! At such a young age! If your kids were old enough to do all the clean up, then maybe, till then Heidi Lou, it will end up being all you. :) Ok, I'm half kidding, but secretly I'm not. Don't worry, I'll still be your friends if you get one. I have to admit that is one cute dog.

I say if Phil is willing as will take care of Elphie like he claims Yes. I think he will follow through with his tasks.. It is a cute dog, and we were already going to come see it until we found out Phil was announcing to us an undecided Unpurchased dog

It would be SO hard to say no to that dog's (and your family's faces!)

I am not a dog fan, but if you are feeling okay with it, I would go for it!

Can't wait to see what you decide :)!
