I'm in love with Dippin' Dots

For those of you unaware of my obsession with Dippin' Dots (you know, the delectable ice cream beads that melt in your mouth)- I am confessing it now. I love them. For the longest time they were only available at big stadium events, or something like the state fair. Then came the wonderful revelation that Colossimo's sold them. That was truly an incredible find. Then last night at the grocery store I was perusing the frozen food section when my eyes stumbled upon something new. And they looked like Dippin' Dots. Almost exactly like them- only they are called Molli Coolz. Of course I had to buy them. "How long have they been so readily available?" I wondered. "How long have I been missing the chance to have the closest thing to Dippin' Dots in my own personal freezer?" Well I brought them home, and let me tell you, they are delicious. I had one last night, and this morning they were all I could think about. I felt like when I was off-track in 5th grade and my mom would buy me a Lunchables for lunch. It too would consume my thoughts and I wouldn't be able to stand it and I would end up eating it at 10:45 in the morning. Well, I am glad to say that I have a little (and I do mean little) more will-power than I used too, and I managed to hold off until 3:30. (and I did share with the kids) But now the kids are in bed and those little frozen dots of goodness are once again calling my name.
Have a great weekend everybody!!

That is so funny! I love Dippin Dots too! My favorite is mint chocolate. I will have to check my grocer's freezer for "Molli Coolz!"

Um...I have to admit that I've always been a skeptic of dippin' the dots. I just can't imagine that they could be as creamy as the real stuff. I could be wrong, I've never tried them. I'll have to give them a chance! This is news to me-I've never heard anyone admit their adoration for dippin' dots!

Oh Heidi...I'm glad you've found an easier way to feed the addiction. I'll give 'em a try.
