Ok, remember my post a couple of weeks ago about my new attitude about Monday's? (http://theberrytribe.blogspot.com/2007/10/monday-monday.html) Well, I may have to forget all about my new attitude if I have another Monday like today. It started out well enough. The kids were being sweet and it was a gorgeous day outside. Phil even came home for lunch and we sat outside enjoying the sunshine. I had full intentions of spending the rest of the day at the park. Then I ran inside to get something and smelled something not quite right. I realized my shoe had doggie poopy all over it! And I had walked all over the carpet upstairs and into Sam's room. I was furious! So there went my beautiful day. I then spent the next six hours scrubbing, renting a carpet cleaner, and steaming the carpets. (Everything takes longer than it should when you have a three month old that likes to eat all the time.) Phil now thinks his chances of ever owning a dog are shot. He may be right. At least if we had a dog I would think to look before I stepped onto my own lawn. Dad, I'm afraid that I've lost the never ending battle to keep the dogga-poopie off my shoes!!!

No fun. Sorry that ruined the day!
I'm so sorry! That's awful. Hopefully your next monday will be much better. Love you guys!
Heid, you have been tagged. Go to my blog.
It's a real war out there. Chin up. You'll have some good days and some bad ones. It's hard enough to keep your kids' shoes free, let alone your own. But you've done well. Maybe this is why Aunt Donna always insisted on staying indoors!
Heidi, I heard about the doggy doo doo. What a shame!!! that would ruin my year, walking around wondering if you can really smell doggy doo, or if my memory is keeping the smell around to torchure me. But I am sure if you still smell it, it would only be your memory torchuring you. Sounds like you did a very thorough cleaning job.
