A rather exciting event occurred today at the Berry household. Abram lost his first tooth! It had been loose for quite some time, and I helped him pull it out today! He was so happy and proceeded to call his friends and family to share the news. Once the excitement settled, though, I realized that my heart hurt a little. My baby boy is growing up. There is something sweet about my first baby losing his tooth just as Sammy is about to get a tooth. The time goes by so quickly. Today it is one bottom tooth, next thing I know he will have braces, and before I know it he will be all grown up. I guess I need to take these little reminders to enjoy him while he is little. To not get too worked up over the little fits he throws. (Just call me Heidi "Idle Threats" Berry.) He is one amazing little boy and I guess I just feel lucky that I get to experience all of this growing up stuff with him. I just hope those two front teeth stick around for a little while longer.
Abram was very worried that the tooth fairy was going to take his tooth. He wrote a note that said, "Dear Tooth Fairy, I do not want you to take my tooth. Will you leave me some money?" He said the same thing in his prayers. The tooth fairy was happy to oblige.

You can see that I lost a tooth. If anyone in your family lost a tooth, they already have money from the tooth fairy. Luckily, I got a visit from the tooth fairy last night. And I got one dollar!

Hey Congrats Abram. Please go along with our story about you losing your tooth because you didn't brush your teeth. That is what we told Joey to get her to brush her teeth for us, it worked like a charm. Hee hee
Yay for Abram and yay for you for yanking out a tooth! Eeek! That's one part of motherhood I get a little woozy about!
Yea! What a handsome little boy! That is a big mile stone and Im gonna be the same way when my baby starts to grow up! He seems like such a good little kid. Such a cute family!!!
Abram, I love missing teeth. Too bad when they come back in, you need a visit to the orthadontist. Especially the Mendenhalls. You guys are in for a treat.
