We love St. George

From the look of my blog the last couple of weeks, it would seem that nothing has been going on. Not true. There has been plenty of blog-worthy fun, so I am excited to get caught up. Abram turned six years old and we had MANY celebrations for him, and we spent this last weekend with Phil's family in beautiful, sunny St. George. We spent the weekend hiking, biking (well, Phil did- I can't take credit for that), 4-wheeeling (again, that would be Phil), kite-flying, swimming, exploring, visiting pioneer homes, visiting family, hunting for easter eggs and just enjoying being together. Some families dread car trips, but I love them. Our kids are really great in the car and I love the time I have to talk to Phil without any interruptions. We absolutely love road trips. Thanks to Phil and Michelle for a great weekend!

Heidi,
Come on down. Southern Utah is great!! Looks like you had a lot of fun. I love St. George too, but I am more partial to Cedar City. ;o)

Hi Heidi,

It looks like you guys had a blast. You are so lucky that your kids let you talk during road trips. Cam doesn't let us chat much, probably because she wants someone to talk to also. Your kids are so cute! I can't believe you have 3. I have lots of questions on how to go from one kid to two. I will be bugging you for info :)

Can you give me any pointers for making a long car ride enjoyable? Man, I dread long rides. What keeps your kids occupied? You're one lucky girl!

St. George is SO fun! I remember MOST of my childhood trips there--it is fun that you guys can visit there so often!

Happy Birthday Abram!
