How did we miss knowing about daylight savings this year? Phil and I somehow both spaced the time change. I just happenned to be up with Sam in the middle of the night and saw that the time on the T.V. differed from our alarm clock. It is funny how one hour can throw you completely off...
Sam has been sick again the past few days. Double ear infections- I have been up the last four nights with the poor little guy. One night I was awakened thinking a giant spider was crawling down towards us from the ceiling. I jumped out of the chair I was sleeping in with Sam and turned on the lights as fast as I could. Of course there was nothing there- this is a recurring nightmare that wakes me up now and again. It is rather annoying. Sam really is the nicest baby, though. As sleep deprived as I have been, I have to say I treasure the time we spend together in the middle of the night. There is something special about being needed by your sweet little baby in the quiet of the night. When it is just the two of us and everyone else is asleep. We had to miss a couple of family parties (it was fun to see Julie, Jackie and Lindsey!), but things seem to be on the up and up now.
Alex has been taking ballet for the last month. She is darling. She loves her class and loves her outfit and loves to show us what she has been learning. She is coming up with even more nicknames for all of us. I am now "Mama Koala Kazamma, " which in Alex language is pronounced "Mama Toala Tazamma." Phil has been "Daddyos" for a few days now. She affectionately has shortened Sam's nickname to Chubbers.
Abram is very excited for his birthday next week. He thinks he needs 3 celebrations like Alex had. (On that note- we had Alex's birthday party with the Berrys on the Sunday after her birthday. He gave the prayer at dinner and said, "We are glad we are here celebrating Alex's birthday. Even though this is not her real birthday. And that it is really March 2nd." I loved that he was trying to be nice about the fact that he didn't see any reason that we needed to be having another birthday party for her.) A few days ago at school it was "Dr. Seuss Day." It was his idea to dress up as "Thing 2," and I think he looked great!

The bottom picture of Sam looks like Seth D. Maybe SSB has a little Durham in him...
