I love the 4th of July. It has always been one of my favorite holidays. This year was great. We started the day off with breakfast on our street. How often do you walk out the door and have an incredible breakfast prepared for you? My Mom and Dad had a delicious breakfast as well at their house, so we got double the goodness. We went swimming again in the afternoon, and then had a BBQ with Phil's family. We topped the night off with going to watch fireworks (Sammy fell asleep at 7:30, so Grandpa kindly offered to stay home with him.)
We met Phil's family up at Deer Creek the next morning and had a great day on the boat. The kids had a ball. Sam was perfectly content as long as the boat was moving- he had two great naps in our arms during the day. Phil waterskiied holding Abram and then Anthony on his hip. Pretty funny. Cute Alexandra. She only cried for a half hour this morning because we made her wear a shirt over her swim suit. So fashion conscious at such a young age! :)

Looks like fun. Sometimes I wish we had a boat!
