Memory Lane

MEMORY LANE- This will be fun! This is just too fun to pass up. Here are the directions:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! I guess good or bad, but be nice!!!!!!!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

Since I was the annoying little sister! I remember the amount of time you would write in that amazinng journal of yours! I loved that you did it everyday. I bet if we looked back we could have some great laughs! I still love I was there for you and Phil's first kiss. I also remember when me and Aly would come home we would always sit at the Sego Lily house and eat chips and salsa late at night and talk about our night! You have always been such a sweet heart to me! I like ya alot!

Probably my favorite one about you was late nights at Royal Oak. There was this weird song that came on the Disney channel at 1 in the morning and you would dance so freakishly to it! It still makes me laugh out loud when I think about it. I wish we could remember what it was. I am sure that Abram and Alex would love to see their Mommy doing that dance. I feel lucky to have seen it!!

Paradise Yogurt was the best! I remember one time that we went behind the counter and put our own toppings on...that was a pretty significant moment in a fro-yo loving kid's life. You were always the nicest to me growing up, and the one time you weren't (you were completely entitled to be bugged with your annoying little sister that night) you wrote me an apology letter (which I still have). Thanks for being my favorite sister growing up (isn't it kind of mean to everyone else that I used to proclaim that?!)!

I totally remember sitting on your front porch on Sego Lily and waving at all the hot guys that drove by--that of course wanted us :) Also, eating mac & cheese on said porch. We were so awesome!

I also remember filming our version of the "Oprah Winfrey Show" and the 9th grade musical...which I can't remember the name of, Teen 2 perhaps...but it included such hit singles as "Peer Pressure" etc. That film must be found and destroyed ;)

My memory of you is also a memory of Abram. When we were first moving into our house, Abram came by on his bike and told us that he was "wondering when we were going to move in." He was so nice and personable. We were so happy to see kids in the neighborhood. Then he asked if we wanted to meet you, his parents. We promptly accepted the invitation, and were so glad to meet such nice neighbors. We feel very lucky to have you and your family as our friends.

Oh man my first memory was the one Aly said, you dancing to late night Disney music was the best. I remember coming over to your apartment all the time when I was prego and I loved it. And you being in the room with me when Luke was born. I loved having you guys in there.

I remember the first time I saw you and Jenny, in your snow clothes standing in the garage waiting to go snow skiing, there were branches in the way from teh big pine tree so I didnt' get a good look and Phil's girlfriends that he was going skiing with...I was nervous to come out and talk to you guys, so I just politely watched from the front door.

Girl's camp, the year with "the Julies" when there were only a few girls that went. We had the "Miss Camp Pagent" with our lovely garbage-bag outfits...those were good times!

I remember the first day we met as 8 year-old kids. You were on your front porch hula-hooping. Greetings were not exchanged. I guess the playing began later. I always remember you in harachi's (spelling), which I thought were absolutely cool, and the famous beating with a brush incident by trista. So funny.

I remember the first time I met you when I was dating Wade. We went to Phil and your cute little place in Sugarhouse. I think we just played games and hung out, but I remember you being so kind and so friendly and making me feel so welcome, like I was one of the group all along. You have that affect every time I see you, making me and everyone around you feel like a million bucks!
